Eurasia Group provides the marketplace with a comprehensive and integrated set of political risk solutions whose clients range from macro hedge funds to institutional investors, from family businesses to the world’s largest multinational corporations. What they all share is a desire to better manage the risks and opportunities that flow from politics.
The group was founded in 1998 by Ian Bremmer, one of the foremost political scientists of our time.
The Strategic Challenge
Eurasia Group’s website didn’t accurately reflect the depth and breadth of the group’s professional prowess. The challenge was how to completely redesign the firm’s website—in both look, feel, and functionality—bringing together its disparate elements in a cohesive and complementary way.
The site rebuild offered an opportunity to continue promoting the key brand anchor and spokesperson while also allowing Eurasia Group’s talented global teams to shine in a way that appropriately reflected the scale of their portfolio.
Our Approach
In collaboration with partner agency Odgis, an award-winning boutique design firm based in New York City, ICVM Group played a supporting role in developing an entirely new ground-up corporate identity and branding system.
ICVM Group then led the development of an information architecture more appropriate and effective for a high-end professional services firm. The site implemented a system of “multipurpose relational content,” establishing intelligent content relationships that surface relevant elements based on user behavior and interests.
This networked structure allows users to drill down by topic, author, area of interest, and service—bringing content forward dynamically and intuitively.
Results
The new Eurasia Group website is bold, vibrant, and functions as a sophisticated publishing platform serving a wide range of audiences. Clients, prospective clients, and members of the media use the site as a research and engagement tool.
The platform elevated the firm’s overall presence while continuing to spotlight its primary spokesperson and expanding visibility across its global team. The site is now cohesive, organized, and reflective of the firm’s leadership position—transforming perception and placing Eurasia Group firmly in the upper echelon of political analysis.
